Monte Carlo was interesting because it was the only port we stopped in that we didn't actually stop, well, in port. Because of the size of our ship, we parked (or dropped anchor) in the waters away from the city's harbor and took a little boat from our ship to the city.
While Monte Carlo is known as the playground of the rich and famous, Dan and I didn't notice any jungle gyms or see-saws, so we didn't really get to appreciate its "playground" aspect. Now, there were some really neat homes, including The Palace (which has a fantastic view), so while Dan and I walked around (for hours!) we saw lots of beautiful places.
On to Barcelona, Spain Back to The Mediterranean
