Food!

I decided that I wanted a fruit bowl for the kitchen table.  But real fruit was too much of a hassle, so I crocheted some.  One of the few crocheted things I haven't given away, the fruit bowl lives on our kitchen table or counter... unless one of the cats decides to play with the orange.  Then at least part of the fruit bowl spends several hours on the floor.

The pattern is from a Leisure Arts booklet called "A Cornucopia of Fruit", now out of print (but can usually be found on eBay).

I made this potpourri pie for a Rotary Party Christmas exchange.  I felt bad when a recently divorced man got it, but when someone tried to steal it from him, he went and got it back, so I guess he liked it!  It was filled with an orange spice potpourri so it smelled wonderful.

This pattern is from a wonderful site online, Priscilla's Crochet.

I'm actually not sure where I got this pattern other than the fact that it was an accent piece in a doll pattern.  Just one of the random things I felt like doing.
