What Am I?

Last Sunday, Dan and I had a visitor. He was huddled up against the house next to the front door, I assume trying to stay warm since it was one of the first cold nights we'd had.

I wanted to bring him inside but I'm pretty sure the cats would have tried to eat him. So I put a little box with a face cloth in it and poked the little visitor into it so he could stay warm.

But the question is: what the heck is it?

It's obviously a rodent of some sort so I'm thinking mouse? But his nose seems short so I'm not 100%.

I feel kind of dumb saying that, but hey maybe it is a mouse with a good plastic surgeon which is leading to my confusion...
