(BTW, the 1 viwer(s) of my webcam broadcasting was Dan. He was in the back room while I was trying to learn how to use the darn thing. So yeah, that is marginally better than me viewing my own webcam).

MY cats would lay on top of the camera and all you would see is blackness and maybe fur.
