Cry Fowl!

Yeah, haven't been blogging oh so much this month. Been not sleeping so great since Nibby. I think it is finally catching up. Kind of brain dead when I get home. But, I did want to point everyone's attention to the fact that the Stanley Cup Final is currently going on.

The Detroit Red Wings lead the series 2-0 against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Tonight is game three and the Pens are leading 2-0. Since the Ducks were knocked out of the series in Round One (doh!), I'm pulling for the only other waterfowl in this series:

So, Go Penguins!

BTW, are penguins actually waterfowl or just fowl? Is there such a thing as icefowl?

ETA: Pens won 3-2. Woo hoo! Saturday will be game 4 and the Penguins can tie up the series. And I simply must say that Crosby has a horrible playoff beard. For his sake, I hope he shaved it after the Conference Finals and the current growth has been between the end of that series and the start of the Stanley Cup Finals, but I doubt it. Really, if you are going to wear the C you should be able to get up a beard other guys can look up to. It's all about leadership! Or, if you can't man up with the beard, do like Teemu did last year and just shave. Didn't hurt Teemu or the Ducks any and is much less embarrassing.
