Boys and Girls - or Why My Husband Rocks

Dan had his review yesterday. The general consensus was the boy done good. He got a nice little bonus and a nice not-so-little raise. 11%! Holy smoking monkeys, Batman! Go Dan!

Exactly what I said - holy smoking monkeys.
Well, I actually don't think it is holy and it is just a monkey. But still.

In less exciting news, my annual review was last week and I got a bonus and a raise, too. Dan's bonus was a bit better and his raise was way better - I only got a 3.65% raise. But hey, money's money, right? All that means is that we are that much closer to paying off the car.

Speaking of paying off the car, we've got like 52 months left on the loan but we are so going to pay that puppy off this year. Amazing how quickly the principle goes down when you are paying five times your monthly payment. Go Dave Ramsey. You are my hero.

Anyway, back to topic (sort of). You wanna know what's with my post title, right? Well, Dan got a raise and the first song on my playlist today was Good Charlotte's "Boys and Girls" which I thought was timely in a funny way.
